Dieting- Easy dieting for a new you
January 12th, 2008
You suddenly wake up to this feeling that you have to do something about the way you look and should make that extra effort to change things and do some dieting for a new you. You need not be obese to try and change thing for your self, maybe your hair is lack luster, your skin not as glowing as you would like it to be, and you may want a firmer body without the slight pot belly that is beginning to show. Dieting for a new you can be fun and if the results start showing up sooner than you expected can take you to a new high.
Dieting: Do a once over for yourself
If you want to change the way you look and start dieting for a new you, you will first have to do a “once over” for yourself and see what needs to be improved on. What are the defects that you see in yourself that you would like to rectify and change with the right kind of diet. Just remember that you have the power of changing the way things are and if you have the will power and the motivation then nothing can stop you. A little bit of research on food and nutrition or a trip to the qualified professionals will let you know the kind of diet you should follow and also an exercise program to help you to get to the new you.
Make a diet plan for yourself
Sometimes due to being hard pressed for time or finding it difficult to shop for your daily diet needs, you may miss out on following the program that you have chalked out for yourself. So it is better to make a sort of time table and daily menu for yourself so that you know that you will have to shop just on a weekly basis. Follow a regular eating and exercise pattern and try not to let sudden changes in your schedule upset the routine.
Eating habits
Your eating habits will have to be according to the new make over you want for yourself. If there is excess weight that is your problem then you will have to go on a low fat and calorie diet; if your skin is not as good as it should be then you will have to detoxify your system and have a lot of salads and green vegetables and citrus fruits in your daily diet. Ensure a certain amount of fibers in your food to avoid constipation. If you have a very dry skin and dry hair, you should not cut out fats completely from your diet but could use a little olive oil in your salads. A two liter water consumption per day is a must. Kick start your day with a glass of warm water with a squeeze of lime juice and a dash of honey in it. This works wonders for your digestive system and also your diet and skin condition. Include fresh fruit and vegetable juices in your diet without adding extra sugar to it.
You will be quite pleased with the way you look and feel in a few weeks time, and will be motivated to keep yourself in this top condition in future.
