Sometimes the diet could slow down the metabolism to a point that you start gaining weight instead of loosing it. Eat the right foods

This of course does not mean that you eat all the wrong foods and oily snacks and call them “small meal”. Your small meals should be sensible ones that give you more nutrition and energy and less calories and fat. Plan you daily diet in advance so that you are not caught unawares with hunger pangs suddenly and reach for the nearest most “sinful” binge. Never allow yourself to get too hungry as this will make you end up eating all the wrong foods. Plan your day’s food intake and keep it all readily available according to the schedule. Maintaining a daily diary with you food and calorie intake will help you maintain a proper diet too.
Diet pills and powders
Diet pills and powders that are available across the counter nowadays should be avoided as this is not a permanent solution to a weight loss program. Your body is starved of nutrients and it will be a problem to get back to a normal diet later. These are very often appetite suppressants and can create more damage than you can think of. If at all you do have to go on them it is better to do so under medical guidance.
